Who I am?

Many people know me already for years, however for those who do not know me ?

I am a (male) Rolling Stones fan since the early Seventies. Around 1971, I began to record the music of the Stones on cassette tapes from the radio and when I thought I had all the music of the Stones, I found out that there was many many more.

So I bought myself a recordplayer and a few vinyl records (Black and blue , Stones Story and a few bootlegs). From that time I bought as much as possible I could. So after a several years I had a huge record collection.  

Than in the beginning of the 80's, the CD era began and I was able to buy the first Dutch promo CD (Stones on CD - A radio sampler SAMP1103). From that time I decided to collect CD's and sold my whole vinyl collection (don't ask me if I regret).

In the meantime I have over 3000 titles on CD, I just collect official released CD's from all over the world including promo' s, acetates and mis-pressings etc. ( I just have a few bootlegs).

Since I started collecting, I got in touch with many other Stones-fans from all over the world, and I still do !

In all those years I have seen the Stones (and solo performences) over 80 times all over the world. Besides that I have cooperated on several books and I contributed several books, magazines and radio- and TV shows.

Also I was the winner of the Belgium Rolling Stones competition in 2002 and I won a complete organized trip to New York to see the band in the Madison Square Gardens,

My latest Stones show was in Germany, Gelsenkirchen on July 27th. 2022 during the Sixty tour. Hopefully I will see them again !

After all these years I admit to say ;  You can't always get what you want !  So please be happy of what you have ! 

The most important thing in your life is your health, the Rolling Stones is just an exceptional hobby !

I would like to dedicate this fanclub page to my beloved wife Maud, who passed away on May 7. 2020. 

She has always supported me in my hobby of being a fan of the Rolling Stones.                   I am glad that I had her for 45 years and that I could take her to several shows of the Rolling Stones and Keith Richards.

I am missing her and I will love her forever!   Thank you my dear for your support.
